Gain Experience While Studying
The United Kingdom (UK) is a top choice for international students, offering opportunities to work while pursuing education. On a Tier-4 Student Visa, students can work a maximum of 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during vacations, with restrictions on self-employment or freelance work. Before starting a job, students must apply for a National Insurance Number. For courses requiring work placements, there are specific time limits for work.
Staying in the UK after completing studies can be challenging, but recent policies allow students enrolled from 2020/21 onwards to stay for two years post-graduation. Universities also support career development through dedicated career services, helping with job applications, resume preparation, and interview strategies.
